FEW Friday Celebration
Each One Teach One”
Friday, July 24 - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sponsored by Tri Star Engineering and SAIC

Attendees at this event are encouraged to wear red representing Women’s Heart Health and showing our support of our men and women in the Armed Forces.

FEW members are invited for a celebration of giving back. Friday morning we will hold a special session for FEW members that focuses on the topic Each One Teach One.

We will begin the morning with an update from FEW's Legislative Representative Janet Kopenhaver. Janet will provide a brief update on the legislative accomplishments for FEW this past year. It has truly been a year a change and promise. Joining Janet will be Valerie Guenther, District Director for Representative Suzanne Kosmas (FL-24-D) who will give her insight into what we can expect from Congress during the rest of the year.

As we continue the morning, you will be inspired as you hear stories from individuals who have experienced their own personal success through the practice of reaching back or paying it forward. Keynote speakers include Lisa Jones who will speak on the topic of “I am My Sister’s Keeper” and Carole Parker who will speak on the topic of “Becoming the Person Others will want to Follow” (for the website - insert and link their bios here).

You will also hear from FEW chapter leaders who have experienced first hand how the principle of Each One Teach One and paying it forward has had an impact in their lives.

Brunch will be included in the morning’s events. FEW Friday is presented as an added benefit for our members, and there is no cost to attend.

This event promises to be rewarding and inspiring. Don’t miss out!
