Volunteers Opportunities

You must be a registered attendee of the NTP to volunteer.

Photo from previous NTP Volunteers are the individuals that fulfill the needs of all the areas that are so crucial to any successful program. If you plan to attend the 40th National Training Program (NTP), please consider donating some of your time to FEW in the exciting city of Orlando, Florida, July 20–24, 2009.

The NTP is very important to Federally Employed Women. It is through its many volunteers that this program continues to be a success. Yes, you, the volunteer, are the reason the NTP continues to be a HUGE success. So with that said, let's get down to the business of making things happen.

Volunteers with positive "can do" attitudes are needed in many areas during NTP week at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort, but here are some key areas where you can help:

  • Workshop facilitator
  • Registration desk
  • Conference bags distribution
  • Information booth
  • Guides (assist attendees find event locations)
  • Special event facilitators
  • Roving reporter
  • Miscellaneous support

BENEFITS - FEW benefits a great deal from its Volunteers! What do volunteers get in return?

An opportunity to discover leadership qualities and new skills.

    Experience for your resume.

Opportunities to learn more about NTP administration and to explore the possibilities of expanding your role at future conferences.

FEW is fortunate to have individuals such as you. For further information, please contact Jeanette McElhaney at ntp2009jmc@few.org.

We look forward to meeting you and, most importantly,
working with you.
