Opportunities for Professional Trainers

As a non-profit organization, FEW has limited funds for honorariums, travel expenses, and other expenses. Traditionally, Federal employees selected to present training have been supported financially by the employing agency at no cost to FEW. Private trainers have viewed the conference as an excellent marketing forum and have negotiated in-kind services such as complimentary program book advertising, web site links, and conference kit inserts. Trainers receive maximum exposure through the 20,000 registration packages that are distributed approximately 5 months prior to the conference.

"My experience at the FEW NTP has been one that I will always value. It gave me wonderful opportunities to network with many different trainers and presenters, as well as women from all over the country. FEW is a group of women who are professional and take pride in their careers. I am always proud to say that I have been a presenter and a part of the FEW NTP events."
- Kimmarie Barrett, Trainer 2004 NTP

Conference kits, distributed to participants, trainers, and VIPs, include a copy of the program book. The program book lists all trainers and includes workshop descriptions. Many organizations and individuals retain registration packages and program books long after the conference is over to use as resource material when securing trainers for internal programs.

Trainers who market their services to the Federal sector have the added advantage of the opportunity to showcase their training to more than 3000 Federal employees including EEO Specialists, Personnel Management Specialists, Managers and Supervisors, Training Officers, and others. When the opportunity to present training is combined with participation in our trade show, Excellence Expo, the training contractor’s contact time with these and other participants who are in a position to secure your services for the Federal workplace is multiplied.
