Passionately Pink: FEW for the CauseIn conjunction with the 42nd National Training Program (NTP) hosted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, July 18 – 22, 2011, Federally Employed Women has selected the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer as the recipient of our fundraising efforts this year. The selection of the Komen Foundation was an easy one. Many of our members have been impacted by breast cancer. Breast cancer does not discriminate. “Being appointed as the Team Lead for this fundraising was a privilege to me. Being a breast cancer survivor brings it all close to home”, stated Brenda Hagar. FEW for the Cause is an initiative that is all about giving back. One hundred percent of each donation goes directly to the Komen Foundation.
