The 2003 NTP has joined the Transportation Security Administration's
(TSA) Prepare for Takeoff Campaign as a partner. The Prepare for Takeoff
campaign embodies TSA�s commitment to "World Class Security and
Customer Service". Its partners share this commitment. The three
major objectives of the campaign are:
- Prepare passengers for travel before they arrive at the airport
- Decrease hassle for passengers at the airport
- Increase the public�s confidence in and use of air travel
The TSA has prepared a series of fact sheets, which explain in plain
language what the new procedures are and how passengers should prepare
for their next flight. The information is also being published on the
TSA website and will be found on signs and posters at airports nationwide.
The TSA and all members of the travel and tourism and disabilities community
share a common customer � the traveling public � and a common goal -
ensuring that our customers are well prepared for their journey. The
TSA has put together the most up-to-date and comprehensive set of information
on aviation security. This information is all available for the public

their passenger education web address.
The 2003 NTP is committed to working with the TSA to expand their reach
to the entire traveling public and help everyone stay informed and prepared
as security procedures evolve.
